Our Story

Hey folks. I've been working the construction scene for a solid three decades, remodeling and building homes, decks, spa pads—you name it! While some might just see bricks and mortar, I've got this knack for spotting the hidden potential in every nook and cranny. And let me tell you, as a realtor, there's nothing quite like the thrill of unveiling the hidden gems in every property, while also paying homage to the memories and traditions that make a house a home.

And then there's Amy Jo, the research guru behind our operation. By day, she's shaping young minds in the classroom, but when it comes to properties, she's diving headfirst into the world of real estate, armed with her trusty research skills and an eye for detail when it comes to lising or buying. From FaceTiming distant buyers to exploring every corner of Michigan, she's our secret weapon in the quest for the perfect home.

Now, when we're not busy turning houses into homes, you'll find us sneaking up to Grayling. We're a pair of empty nesters who know how to make the most of our downtime—whether we're tearing up the trails on our snowmobiles, paddling downriver in our kayaks, or hitting the links for a round of golf. Oh, and did I mention the motorcycle adventures? That's right, I'm the fearless leader of our biker gang (lol) of my son and friends...with Amy Jo occasionally joining in for the ride.

But it's not all adrenaline and outdoor escapades. We're also big fans of live music, trying out new restaurants, and traveling whenever we can. And of course, no family portrait would be complete without our furry baby Molly who keeps us on our toes and brings endless joy to our lives.

In the past six years alone, we've tackled not one, but two of our own epic remodels, built our own brand-new home from the ground up, and embarked on more moves than we can count.
